Viking’s compass – Vegvisir – Symbol of Guidance and Protection. Wayfinder, a necklace for Him. Pinewood.

Materials:
– Waxed polyester cord in black colour.
– Pinewood slice (burned by me)
– Wooden beads

Pinewood slice 4 cm in diameter, it is handmade by me. You won’t find another medallion like this. Each of my medallions is unique, hand burned and glazed.

The necklace is adjustable (with a sliding knot easy to adjust)

The Vegvisir, also known as the runic compass or the Viking compass made of eight Viking rune staves, is a symbol of protection and guidance believed to be used as a compass by Vikings. The word vegvisir means ‘wayfinder’ and ‘signpost’ in the Icelandic language.
